With over five decades of combined jiu-jitsu experience, association heads Nicholas Gregoriades and Brent Burniston each deeply understands the art. In addition, they come from the very finest lineage being 4th and 3rd-degree black belts from the legendary Roger Gracie and Jean-Jacque Machado, respectively.

Even though your students surround you, It can be a lonely experience running your jiu-jitsu academy. It presents a unique set of challenges and brings several responsibilities. At the Subconscious Association, we’re the ‘coaches,’ we help guide you through all aspects of the jiu-jitsu instructor and school owner experience.

Just because you’re a black belt does not mean you stop learning. Nic and Brent are known throughout the industry for their exceptional teaching ability. Besides being extremely technical jiu-jitsu players, they also excel at helping higher belts progress and evolve.
