This association is not for garage gym owners or hobbyists who run their gyms as personal training spaces.

It is not intended for those who judge an individual’s worth solely on their jiu-jitsu ability or competition record. If your focus is primarily on competition and winning medals, this may not fit you best.

Yes we are. You and your students are able to enter all IBJJF competitions under the Subconscious Association if you choose to. We are also able to sign off on your IBJJF certificates.

We have a blue belt curriculum and are working on ones for the purple, brown, and black belts. In addition, when you become a member of the Subconscious Association, you immediately get access to several online books and videos which you can use to assist you in your teaching.

Brent and Nic make it a point to visit each of the affiliated academies at least once per year.

Association membership is available to full-time academy owners who are graded to brown belt or higher.

Yes, but we do not grade students that we have not met in person, trained with and developed a relationship with. If you affiliate your academy, do not expect to get graded immediately.
